Dutch Wave is in september 2016 opgericht als matchrace team door oud zeilers van de Team Heiner Talents. Momenteel staat het negende (juni 2019) op de wereldranglijst. Het team staat onder leiding van Jelmer van Beek. Doel is deel te nemen aan de Professionele World Match Racing Tour. Deze tour heeft in het verleden bewezen vele succesvolle Volvo Ocean en America Cup zeilers voort te brengen.
