Dying Breed Brewing is located in Oakdale, California which is a small country town originally settled by Francis Cottle and his herd of cattle in 1853. We chose our highlander cow, quite frankly for it’s amazing hairdo, and to reflect the beginning of a great tradition. Oakdale, is a longtime cattle ranching community known as the cowboy capitol of the world that is today part of a dying breed.
At Dying Breed Brewing, we believe in keeping good traditions alive and paying homage to those that work hard at their craft. We do our part by developing local craft beer made with the finest ingredients and inspired by a story of tradition.
