Our mission is to establish the new standard method for the extraction of kidney stones.
The current therapy options are based on the fragmentation of the stones. In this process, all resulting fragments must be located and extracted individually. Fragments left behind can lead to renewed stone growth, infections, and colic. It is assumed that approximately 50% of the patients have to be treated again due to these residues.
We have developed an innovative method for minimally invasive, magnetic removal of kidney stone fragments.
