About Dyson Grand Challenges

The Grand Challenges Program at the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University provides practical, real-world business training to all undergraduate students at Dyson. Through a series of courses, seminars, and client-facing project work, students develop skills in project management, communications, self-awareness, teamwork, and ethical leadership. Experiential and engaged learning are central to the Grand Challenges curriculum, and the project work is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Students work directly with non-government organizations (NGOs), government authorities, intergovernmental organizations, large and small companies, and startups with innovative approaches to addressing global challenges.
