Founded in 2024, Dytor Capital is a private equity firm committed to growing the businesses of the future. This is based on the experience, knowledge and network of Founder and CEO, Mark Dytor. Previously, Mark worked for JSE-listed group, AECI (AFE), for 4 decades including 10 years as Chief Executive.
Given the diversity of Mark’s background, the firm is focused on chemical alternatives and substitutes as well as green chemistry, pioneering technology and renewable energy in the areas of Agriculture, Chemicals, Mining and Water.

After acquiring a primary business, the firm looks to buy smaller businesses that can grow the primary business by means of new capacity, capability, geography, offering and/or reach, leading to:
