Nitrous oxide is widely used as an analgesic within healthcare, particularly childbirth. Nitrous oxide has a climate impact ~300 times that of carbon dioxide and is the largest contributor to the climate impact of anaesthetic gases globally. In addition, long term exposure to nitrous oxide within the workplace has been found to be detrimental to health.
In independent tests N2O Clear has been shown to destroy over 99% of input nitrous oxide and it is widely accepted by midwives in the workplace.
