eCREST

eCREST stands for electronic Clinical Reasoning Educational Simulation Tool; an online interactive learning resource using simulated patient cases to support clinical reasoning in diagnosis. eCREST was designed by doctors-in-training, medical students, clinical educators and experts in diagnostics, respiratory health, primary care, public health, and cancer at University College London. The aim of eCREST is to help students to develop their investigative, clinical, and diagnostic reasoning skills through a virtual online patient simulation experience comparable to real clinical consultations. We have collaborated with numerous medical schools, both within the UK and internationally, to embed eCREST as part of their curriculum. This has allowed us to work with a wide range of student groups (e.g., medical students, physician associate students, and pharmacy students) and with students from diverse backgrounds. We are always looking for new collaborations with schools who may want to use eCREST.
