E-Donors Community - EDC

E-Donor’s Community (EDC) was established with the objective of creating an electronic community of blood donors and requesters that will change the process by which blood is currently requested. Through its website and mobile application, EDC will be able to locate eligible donors in real time and put them in contact with the requesters. The impact of the EDC objectives does not only lie in raising awareness, increasing donations, and facilitating the work of the patient’s family members at difficult times, it also helps sustain social and humanitarian values. We are currently in early stages of launching the application, and depend entirely on corporate and private sponsorship for financial support. We know that XYZ Corporation has as its mission a desire to give back to the local community. As a sponsor, you will receive media attention from your association with EDC, through advertisements on our application and website, in addition to the campaigns promoting the application. You would be helping in raising awareness to the importance of blood donation, and most importantly contributing in saving a life. We aim to reach, with the collaboration of Red Cross and Donner Sang Compter, and advertising agencies throughout Lebanon, more than 10,000 users in the next year. Furthermore, EDC is currently among the top 10 finalists in the Global Social Venture Competition (GSVC), and will represent Lebanon in the regional finals in Paris before a jury of professionals and an anticipated audience of (...). Winners of the regional final will continue to the global competition held in Berkeley before a jury of investors, professionals in social entrepreneurship and renowned professors. Your organization’s name will accompany that of EDC throughout the competition.
