The E-Drug Foundation aims to promote the concept of essential medicines, pharmaceutical care, and access of all people to affordable, safe, quality assured, rationally used essential medicines and pharmaceutical services worldwide.
The foundation tries to achieve its goal by organizing an international communication platform (E-Drug Plus) where health professionals can exchange information about:
a. questions and thoughts on all aspects of essential medicines and pharmaceutical systems;
b. development of new, innovative concepts on the quality, access to, and rational use of essential medicines;
c. research, training and education, capacity development, coaching, advice, evaluation, monitoring;
d. policy analysis, and policy preparation;
e. lobbying and communication;
f. supporting knowledge exchange between high-, middle- and low-income countries, conferences, publications;
g. organizing thought leadership events such as seminars, webinars, conferences;
h. participating in, and supporting thought leadership events, conferences, and
i. by all other legal means.
