E for Ektisad

In Lebanon, the economic debate ranks low among the priorities of political discussions. Given the fact that politics and economics cannot be separated, the main role of politicians in the rest of the world is to discuss economic and social policies. Here, this debate is often far removed from scientific facts and the economic academic research, to the point where citizens are starting to feel that Economics is more sorcery than a discipline. We seek through E For Ektisad to unravel the mysteries of the dismal science and put economic concepts and policies in their correct scientific context.
