E-institute (E-Zavod) is a non-profit institute working in multidisciplinary fields including sustainable development, innovation, and business support. The mission of institute is to support integration of European policies and improve quality of citizens’ life through implementation of practical projects. Main focus is on supporting sustainable economy, innovation, sustainable energy, clean environment and rural development. Key fields of excellence are sustainable development, open and social innovation, living labs, supporting low carbon society, smart cities, circular economy, and bioeconomy. In the past 18 years E-institute implemented more than 60 EU funded projects and coordinated more than 10 of them. Projects were from various sustainable development fields, and different programmes including FP7, H2020, Interreg, Intelligent Energy Europe and Urban Innovative Action.
