Hi, I'm Evgeny Ivanov, a product director and former principal data scientist at a services marketplace where customers and professionals can connect. As a product director: - Reorganized teams, redefined objectives, and hired an analytics manager. - Introduced company-wide practices to streamline critical decision-making in projects and to enable the emergence of cross-team initiatives with greater impact. - Initiated and oversaw several projects, including one that increased revenue in one of the largest categories by 7%. Previously, as a principal data scientist: - Formed a data science team to enhance the core algorithms of the marketplace and hired machine learning engineers, analysts, and a product manager. - Developed models, solved optimization problems, and led projects that improved key metrics of the two-sided matching platform. - Designed and analyzed advanced experiments for cases where classic user-based A/B tests would not be valid. Prior to that, I developed and implemented a demand forecasting and inventory optimization system for a fashion retail chain.
