E2 Architects

e// architects were founded in 2009 by Andreas Mermigas and Ifigeneia Theodoridou. They both studied Architecture at the Technical University of Darmstadt in Germany with key area of expertise energy efficiency and sustainability. They have worked in several offices in Europe and met again in 2009 to create “e2 architects”. Andreas is a certified Energy Consultant (German Certification TUD) and Thermographer (Level 1- Swedish Certification Center ITC). He also holds the United States GBC LEED Green Associate title. Ifigeneia has a PhD from the TU Darmstadt regarding large-scale urban retrofitting measures, is a certified nZEB designer, teaches at the International Hellenic University and worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Patras in Greece. Andreas and Ifigeneia believe in team-work. Over the past years they have created valuable collaborations with fellow engineers, researchers and colleagues. They are open to new ideas and alliances.
