E4Impact Entrepreneurship Center Uganda

E4I Entrepreneurship Center offers Business Development and Advisory Services. To transform farmers and aggregators in Agrifood Systems into entrepreneurial actors, E4I offers personalized business development services, including: Value Chain Analysis; E4I carries out comprehensive agricultural value chain analysis, as this is a cornerstone of its business development support for entrepreneurs in Uganda. This specialized service is designed to identify opportunities, address bottlenecks, and enhance the efficiency and inclusivity of value chains, particularly for smallholder farmers and aggregators at the base of the economic pyramid. Business Model Design and Groups/Cooperative Management; Farmer groups and aggregators mainly at the bottom of the value chain receive training on the BMC, training on group dynamics, leadership and cooperative formation and management. Business Planning and Record-Keeping: Farmers and aggregators receive training and simplified tools on financial management, cost analysis, and record-keeping to improve decision-making and profitability. This is critical for aggregators managing large volumes of produce. Entrepreneurship Mentorship: E4I mentorship program, targeting the aggregators and farmer groups providing coaching services on scaling the agribusinesses. Mentors include successful local entrepreneurs drawn from successful entrepreneurs in the value chains and staff with expertise in supply chain management. Impact Measurement; Using our digital impacta tool, E4I is able to track the baseline, midline and endline program assessment and equip the entrepreneurs with an impact measurement platform for their continuous social and economic assessment. These services are delivered through group workshops and one-on-one coaching.
