e7 banat by Promise of a Generation (POAG) was created five years ago to enable young women, representing all seven Emirates, to realize their vision of a better, more inclusive future. The incubator program lasts for nine months, and the young women (aged 18-25) are guided through a design and implementation process for community projects. We follow the principles of Design Thinking and enrich the practical knowledge of the participants with workshops on e.g. budgeting and KPIs/performance metrics. At the same time, we encourage the e7 banat to focus on our five POAG pillars, which are modelled along the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) to guide and channel their efforts. Throughout the incubator cycle, our banat are supported and guided by our team as well as mentors from different professional backgrounds. The program is a non-profit initiative and seeking support from corporate and institutional partners who would like to sharpen their CSR/CSV profiles.
