EA Hire Equipment is a privately owned and operated company established in 1999 to supply the civil construction industry with a comprehensive range of excavators available on wet or dry hire and has grown and expanded ever since. The expansion now includes civil, mining, pipelaying, trenching, surface mining and tunnelling supply. Today the company provides a full range of heavy equipment available for dry hire. Although the majority of the business consists of dry hire, for specialist services EA Hire Equipment can provide operators to meet these requirements. Over the years, EA Hire Equipment has built a strong reputation in supplying the latest machinery available and providing teams of highly skilled operators and Rapid Response Service Teams to deliver specialist services to a very high standard. Our crews have worked on many of the country’s largest iconic civil projects, some of which have included M5 Freeway, Nextgen Rollout, Cross City Tunnel, M7 Freeway, Lane Cove Tunnel, Eastlink, Brisbane Airport Link, Melbourne Metro, Westgate Tunnel, Cross River Rail, Sydney Metro and Snowy 2.0. In 2005 EA Hire Equipment expanded its above ground civil service by acquiring specialist underground equipment and assembling a team of operators able to perform all kinds of specialised underground services and shaft works. EA Hire Equipment’s sister company, SU Tunnel & Civil Services, provides contract services enabling clients to streamline the number of contractors required on site by accessing our complete above and below ground wet hire service along with contracting and ground support services.
