EAF Group Ltd

S R Bird Ltd was originally a farming business growing combinable crops and vegetables. As times changed through the 1980s, the business diversified into the growing, wholesaling and retailing animal and pet feeds, bedding and forage products and in 1992 changed its name Essex Animal Feeds Ltd, to reflect its activity and regionality. Since then the business has further grown to farming in excess of 600 acres for the production of animal feeds and bedding, as well as having other local farmers growing crops exclusively for us. Our products are sold through out the south, east and central England as well as export to several countries across Europe through our wholesale animal feeds business (EAF wholesale), and more locally through our own retail outlets (Animall). The business has also diversified into letting out the surplus farm buildings as business units and workshops, container self storage, a stable yard and a Garden Centre. Due to the diverse activities and the regional name being no longer applicable, the business became EAF Group Ltd in 2018
