The mission of Eagle Mount Billings is to provide year-round recreational opportunities to enhance the lives of children and adults with disabilities. Our focus is to embrace live without limits and empower individuals wit disabilities to be as independent as possible in recreation. When Greta and Bob Mathis - United States Air Force General - retired to Bozeman, Montana in 1984, they started the first Eagle Mount organization. In 1988, the Eagle Mount program in Billings began with an adaptive ski program at Red Lodge Mountain Resort. Eagle Mount Billings became an independent affiliate in 1994 and has grown to include programs in Arts & Crafts, Bicycling, Summer Day Camp, Equestrian, Golf, Social Night and Swimming. There are now independent Eagle Mount organizations in Bozeman, Great Falls and Billings, Montana. Eagle Mount Billings serves both children and adults with a wide range of cognitive and physical disabilities.
