About Us
We are a group of multidisciplinary practitioners with a shared belief in holistic health and integrated wellness. We strongly believe in spirituality as a means to support healing in our own lives and as shaping of our practice. We are collective-minded, queer-identified, trans allies who have a keen desire to support healing for people of all backgrounds, circumstances, orientations and especially the LGBTQ community.
At Eagle Wellness you will find practitioners well versed in modalities of counselling, psychotherapy, arts based approaches, yoga, mindfulness, meditation, and / or reiki. As you read through our website you will get a sense of who our practitioners are and how you may like to approach your health and wellness. How we started
Eagle Wellness founder and director Meera Dhebar has been a practicing social worker and counsellor for more than 20 years. In the summer 2016 she was seeking out a space to work with like minded practitioners and healers. The beautiful space at 402 West Pender St. became available and she jumped at the opportunity to secure it. Aaron Purdie was keen to work with Meera to develop the practice and help build it from the ground up. Together they sought out other practitioners and invited them to share the space and create a vision for growing the practice.
Each member of the team has their own style and approach, but enjoy working together and meet regularly to discuss and develop their practice.
