Early Learning Childcare is a large childcare centre located in Edmonton's downtown business district. We opened in April 2017 and serve families with children from birth to 5 years old. It is our mission to make a difference in the lives of children that we care for. We are committed in the relationships we build with our families, our community and our children. We have a team of dedicated Early childhood educators who have found passion in the field of Early Learning. We are a play based program connected to emmergent cirriculum and is reggio inspired. We follow the play, participation and possibilities an Early Learning and Childcare Curriculum Framework for Alberta.
Early Learning Childcare is large, bright, new and modern. We have 4 classrooms for children birth to 5 years of age. We have a massive wall of windows which allows for natural light to flood throughout the centre. A nutritious menu that is made fresh and in house. An Indoor gross motor room for children to still get that energy out through our cold and long Edmonton winters with an interactive virtual playground. Large smart T.V.'s in the classroom provides children the opportunity to view animals in their natural environments through live web cams and the daily use of story park and baby connect allows parents and teachers to stay connected by making children's learning visible through documentation and learning stories which include pictures and videos.
At Early Learning Childcare our vision is to be the daycare of choice for the parents working and living in the downtown core and we believe our vision will be realized through our image of each child as a strong, resourceful, capable child - a mighty learner and citizen.
