Healthy soil - Healthy food - Healthy lives The technology we have designed at EarthSOS processes solid organic waste (from 9% solids) into nutritious compost. The design is modular and scalable for small and large volumes. Able to process a wide variety of organic waste streams our solution can be operated at a producer’s site or established off-site under contract. However, We believe our best design yet is our 'container series'. A decentralised solution replicated throughout Aotearoa New Zealand can integrate with existing community initiatives and normalise how we handle food scraps. Housed within customised shipping containers taking up less than 300m2 the container series can receive up to 6,000 tonnes per year of food scraps. Fully enclosed we have designed out odour & capture leachate in a water treatment plant, Greenhouse Gas emissions are eliminated because the processing takes 1.5 - 3.5 hours per batch.
