Earth Burger

Earth Burger was started in San Antonio by restaurant entrepreneurs, Chef Mike Behrend and Ellen Evans. The nation’s first plant-based fast-food drive-thru is best known for their plant-based burgers, sandwiches, and health-forward side items. The inspiration came when they started families of their own. Raising vegetarian children in South Texas and finding places to grab food-on-the-go was challenging. Creating a plant based quick-service option was their solution to feed the kids the food they loved, while getting more plants into their diets along the way. As they continued to grow, a passion for providing accessible, affordable, familiar plant-based food exploded. Earth Burger has been recognized not only for its quality burgers but also voted as having the “Best French Fries” by San Antonio Magazine named by QSR Magazine’s as one of their “40/40 List: America’s Hottest Startup Fast Casual.” In 2022, Earth Burger partnered with seasoned restauranteur and concept creator, Jeff Sinelli. The vibe felt right, as the Sinelli Concept Team joined the Earth Burger Family to help expand the four-store footprint with planned, meticulous growth.
