The East of England Regional Defence and Security Cluster (East RDSC) brings together academic institutions, government bodies, public sector agencies, and the defence and security industry across the East of England—including Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Bedfordshire, and Hertfordshire. The East RDSC aims to harness the region’s strengths in research, innovation, advanced manufacturing, and policy to enhance the UK’s defence and security capabilities. By fostering collaboration between academia, government, and industry, the Cluster seeks to elevate regional expertise, drive innovation, and support national strategic objectives. It plays a pivotal role in amplifying the visibility and impact of the East of England defence and security ecosystem, promoting knowledge exchange, economic development, and sustainable growth across the region.
