Kevin Carvell, the founder of Eastern Adaptations, started the business after he was unable to find anyone who could alter his father’s home to best suit his medical needs. So after Kevin put his knowledge and craftsmanship to use and took the project into his own hands, he managed to adapt his father’s home to give him the necessary comfort and support required. It then became a mission for Kevin to enable others who also have difficulties getting around the home, offering individuals the opportunity to stay within the comfort of their own home without the ordeal of moving into a special care home. Eastern Adaptations is a family run company with both personal and professional investment within this sector. We take great pride enabling the less-abled in the comfort of their own home – which is why we are able to take on any job and work in any bathroom, whatever the shape or size. Our mission is to offer comfort and practicality to those with restricted mobility and those who are wheelchair bound, to make their day-to-day life much more simple.
