Eastern Tubes Limited

Eastern Tubes Limited (ETL), country’s only one state-owned prestigious company, is the pioneer of the light manufacturing industry in Bangladesh. ETL is manufacturing best quality lighting products in various ranges since more 1964. Eastern Tubes Limited was established in 1964 at Tejgaon Industrial Area with the technical collaboration of Japanese tech giant Toshiba Company. After independence, The Father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman nationalized Eastern tubes limited by 27 No’s of Presidential order of 1972 (PO 27 of 1972) under Ministry of Industries. From then on it is working proudly under the Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation as the country’s most renowned & prestigious lighting manufacturing company.
