The European Association of Value-Based Health Care (EAVBHC) is a non-profit organisation of European citizens. It was founded in 2021 by 21 Value-Based Health Care (VBHC) experts from 10 European countries who came together to help accelerate the transformation to VBHC across Europe.
The EAVBHC is an initiative of citizens for citizens. Its members represent themselves and do not represent the organisations they work for. We aim to work with other citizens to make VBHC a reality across Europe as soon as possible. A key aspect of our action is to make ordinary European citizens aware of the challenges the European healthcare systems face and to make them realize that VBHC is the solution. Through the voice of ordinary citizens, we intend to place VBHC on the political agenda of the various European countries and European institutions.
