The Ebovis practice is the result of a radical implementation of telemedical principles. Also, Ebovis is a fully-fledged ophthalmological practice offering the entire spectrum of conservative ophthalmology. In the Ebovis practice, patients receive a comprehensive apparative ophthalmological examination without the presence of a physician. The findings are evaluated remotely by a team of experienced ophthalmologists and the patients and referring doctors are informed with a medical note. In order to achieve this, we have replaced all the examinations performed manually today with instrumental and quantitative examinations. This has become possible thanks to the rapid technological development of the last few years.
Such a complete, apparative and standardized examination is in many respects much more extensive and detailed than a normal, personal ophthalmological examination. This compensates for the lack of exchange between doctor and patient.
