About eCarbonZero

We are developing an efficient and high-performance full-flow cell system to convert industrial CO2 emissions. In support of our vision we are seeking industrial partnerships and financial support from industries wishing to reduce their carbon emissions. Please contact Shuzhen Zhang so that we can move to a better understanding of your current projects and use cases. Our Catalytic Negative Emissions Technology uses electrochemical methods to convert CO2 to valuable fuels and chemicals e.g. syngas, ethylene, or ethanol. When powered by “Guarantee of Origin” green energy, these products can be used in normal industrial processes resulting in a net-zero CO2 footprint. Converting CO2 into “true green” output products can significantly support existing heavy industries. Cost-effective CO2 conversion will enable lifecycle extension of large-scale assets, resulting in a higher Return on Investment and greater investment stability. The current goal is to design, construct and operate a transportable pilot plant (modular electrolyser prototype) to demonstrate and optimize this Catalytic Negative Emissions Technology under industrially-relevant conditions. Next, to produce a full-scale commercial minimum viable product within 3 years characterised by high stability, long membrane life, and high energy efficiency. To date, we have achieved the following: 1. A record System Energy efficiency hitting 20% ~ACS Energy Lett, 2020 2. A record Ethylene selectivity hitting 72% ~Nature, 2020 3. A record CO2 single-pass conversion hitting 77% ~ Science, 2021; US 63/200,393.
