ECCOV.Inc., started by two founders who formerly worked as engineers at South Korean giant company Hyundai Motor Group is positioned to lessen the issue if not totally solve them by being a micro mobility platform creator. It is also a spin-off company from Hyundai Motor. The tech driven leaders together with their devoted colleagues are ambitious to introduce new ideas, concepts and functionalities through updating their micro mobility platforms. Unlike the traditional vehicle industry where the design is largely brand focused, the mobility service vehicles should be more application compatible so that the vehicles can be tailored to different application scenarios be it for food delivery or ride sharing, without too much effort. The ECCOV’s Viable Platform Architecture is ideal for mobility services, since it is modular, customizable and upgradeable to prevent obsolescence. This is a new way to give a real flavor for what your personal mobility will be like in the future. We see the potential of EMPA (ECCOV’s Modular Platform Architecture) for the future of mobility as a service, it will allow service fleets to last longer under heavy usage conditions like cargo vehicles and enable hardware to upgrade of self-driving, connected car technologies seamlessly.
