Maçon - The Entrepreneurship Cell

MAÇON was founded in 2008 when Mr. Anup Aggarwal, a student, and an aspiring entrepreneur, felt the need for guidance and support in order to achieve his entrepreneurial dreams. Maçon-The official Entrepreneurship Cell of IBS Hyderabad is a student-driven organization mentored by Ms. Anitha Acharya, Associate Professor at IBS Hyderabad, that inculcates the idea of Entrepreneurship among young students. We always inspire students to innovate by conducting Speaker sessions by Founders, Entrepreneurs, and academicians. We believe in fostering entrepreneurial talent by closely working with "The Institute of Innovation Council" and facilitating events and workshops organized by them both online and offline. We follow a curriculum where through our social media handles, we provide innovative content to our viewers and inspire them to start on their own. Our flagship event, "The E-Week" is a 7-day innovation-driven event where students from different universities come together to participate in B-Plan workshops, design thinking activities, and different phases of Entrepreneurship. We also provide a platform through incubation in our college premises for young students of MBA, BBA, Engineering, and Law to come together and work on Business ideas. Our online initiatives like "E-Crunch; The news bulletin" provide weekly start-up news for awareness, and interaction and to make their burning desire of starting on their own into real action. We also motivate students from different Entrepreneurship Cells PAN India to focus on the generation of Jobs rather than seeking Opportunities through initiatives like "Monday Motivation". Our future plans include encouraging young talent to start up for doing the same we always tend to focus on collaboration with Startups and organizations that support and foster entrepreneurship.
