About ECHO LA
At ECHO (Equitable Connections to Housing Opportunities), we are driven by a deep commitment to addressing housing insecurity in Los Angeles and building lasting pathways to stability for individuals and families at risk of homelessness. As the nonprofit partner in Limited Partnerships with affordable housing developers, we manage properties, lease units, and deliver vital on-site services that promote long-term tenancy and thriving communities. In addition to property management and resident support, we offer: - Consultations for developers and property managers/leasing agents. - Mediation services to resolve housing-related conflicts. - Landlord and tenant education to foster healthy relationships and ensure regulatory compliance. Our work spans tenant placement, strategic landlord engagement, and culturally relevant programming that meets the diverse needs of each property. Through initiatives like ECHO STAY (Supportive Tenant Assistance Year-Round), ECHO BRIDGE (Behavioral Response Intervention & De-escalation for Growth & Equity), and ECHO ROOTS (urban farming and food security), we support both housing retention and community wellness. ECHO is more than a housing partner—we’re a movement for equity, dignity, and opportunity.
