ECHO was founded by Samiksha Banu Chandran, who noticed a problem with the workforce; they are incredibly stressed out due to ever-evolving living standards and rising competition. A sector of the workforce is burnt out and dissatisfied, and thus there was a great resignation in major countries across the world; employees who couldn't afford to quit resorted to doing just enough work not to be fired, affecting the people hired and the productivity of the organization.
Even when requested, only 45% of employees receive help for mental health issues. ECHO is a service that provides Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training for employees so they can better identify and attend to the mental health of people they are concerned for.
