At ECHOPPE we believe solving global issues happens through empowering individuals to find local solutions that together solve big challenges. For over 35 years, ECHOPPE has been supporting small entrepreneurs in Togo in finding local solutions to lift themselves out of poverty. Pioneering social micro-finance in Africa since 1990, Echoppe has been working since 2015 with farmers to develop a new farming model based on agroecology that promotes farmers and builds resilience against climate change. Through ECHOPPE, over 400,000 women, artisans and farmers have been able to break the spiral of poverty.
