WE PRACTICE THE CLOSED-LOOP APPROACH
Every day increasingly more resources are consumed for the production of modern goods, while the global waste issue is growing nonstop. That way of living has consequences for our environment and society. Our actions are aimed at leaving those old ways behind us and finding solutions towards more and more closed-loop systems.
The closed-loop approach follows the idea of a product life cycle that never really reaches a final "trash" state but instead is reintegrated into new product life cycles. Thereby reducing the amount of resource consumption and waste accumulation at the same time.
ECOMATES DEVELOPE THE SMART-DEGRADER-TECHNOLOGY
On our journey to fix the human "waste" cycle, we directed our attention to the issue of organic "waste". Organic "waste" is a valuable resource that is usually just thrown away, without using any of its energetic and ecological potentials. The aim of the Smart-Degrader is to make that potential accessible as biogas and liquid fertilizer. Our solution allows anyone to benefit from their own "waste" right where it is produced. Households, restaurants, communes, small farms and many others can reduce their energy costs and get one step closer to self-sufficiency.
