ECO2SMART, Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia

The ECO2SMART project promotes citizens' active awareness of reducing the impact of climate change and disaster risks through the use of ecosystem solutions. Based on this it aims to strengthen the resilience of the coastal areas included in the project. ECO2SMART supports the restoration of green infrastructure, the preparation of other interventions and adaptation plans, awareness-raising, information and training, the active involvement of the population in climate change adaptation measures that can mitigate the consequences of extreme weather events and at the same time, enrich the community with ecosystem services.
