EcoAdvance (Horizon Europe)

EcoAdvance will provide personal insights to empower decision makers and practitioners to fund successful projects that will bend the curve on the decline of freshwater biodiversity. The project will integrate advice from the 5 most successful engineers, practitioners, scientists and advocates in each EU country on how to choose, design and implement freshwater restoration projects. Funders are faced with massive literature on freshwater research and restoration. But figuring out which approach will really work in a specific situation can be overwhelming. EcoAdvance’s Showcase videos from the leading contributors in each EU Member state and around the world (150 in all) will support the project’s Prone2Success Checklist and pinpoint key factors that will make projects successful.
