EcoCampus ISEC

The EcoCampus Committee of ISEC - Coimbra Institute of Engineering (Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra) is a representative committe of the ISEC, made up of students, academic and research staff, non-teaching staff and a member of the executive board of ISEC. This Committee aims to direct and address all phases of the international environmental education program defined by the FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education) EcoCampus programme under the supervision of the Portuguese operator ABAE (Associação Bandeira Azul da Europa). Working and educate towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals is the main goal. FEE - Foundation for Environmental Education, with Head Office in Copenhagen, Denmark is a private company limited by guarantee and registered in England & Wales with company number 04752279 and registered office at 74 The Close, Norwich, Norfolk NR1 4DR. Registered charity number 1148274. ABAE - Associação Bandeira Azul Europa is a nonprofit NGO FEE partner appointed as a national operator who is responsible for managing the programme. It's based in Rua General Gomes Araújo, Edifício Vasco da Gama, Bloco C,1350-355 Lisboa in Portugal. ISEC - Coimbra Institute of Engineering (Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra) is the Engineering higher education unit of the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra, Portugal. IPC - Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra has around 11K students and +700 professors. Its researchers are involved in more than 40 national and EU projects (H2020, INTERREG, LIFE) and provide specialized technical and scientific services to SMEs. IPC has been recently involved in more than 15 national and international patent processes. IPC encompasses 6 higher education units.
