Ecocel (Ireland)

ecocel was founded in Cork 2010 by myself John Egan, to produce cellulose insulation by reusing / recycling used paper and treating it with inorganic salts. This process creates “Cellulose Insulation” with amazingly superior resistance to fire, mould and insects, vermin, and its bat friendly. The whole manufacturing result of the Product is an actual reduction of greenhouse gases i.e., its carbon negative, because more carbon is locked away than released in manufacture. ecocel is the Only Cellulose Insulation manufacturer in Ireland and the UK. ecocel is a member of Irish Green Building Council, Passive House Association of Ireland
