EcoCentric Management Pvt Ltd (EcoCentric) is one of India’s leading Electronics Asset Management company. We have set up a state of art 2500 MTA recycling facility in Khopoli, Maharastra. The facility is built to ensure that maximum efficiency is gained while processing e-waste. EcoCentric was founded in January 2011 to create a professionally run e-waste processing company. Waste Management is at a nascent stage in India and there is a limited awareness about the ethical, safe and compliant e-waste management. Our team traveled across the country to study the scenario at grass root levels and observed that there are a limited number of organisations processing e-waste currently. India generates approximately 8 lakh tones of e-waste as of 2012. Approximately 95% is forwarded to the formal sector whereas the rest is handled by unorganized sector. EcoCentric was formed to fill this gap. EcoCentric strongly believes in the “Reduce Reuse Recycle” way of consuming our natural resources and assist individuals and corporates to incorporate this principle by increasing value of their electronic and electrical inventories as well as disposal of their e-waste in an environment-friendly manner.
