Plasticraft Ltd is a pioneering social enterprise in Rwanda dedicated to advancing circular economy through sustainable recycling and creative craftsmanship. We specialize in collecting plastic waste from local communities in Kigali and its suburbs, repurposing it into functional crafts that showcases Rwanda's cultural heritage. We aim to close the plastic pollution loop and empower women within the waste value chain, turning environmental challenges into sustainable livelihoods through innovative solutions. At the heart of our mission is Kwanda Green; a vocational training program focused on empowering underserved women and youth with hands on green skills, preparing them for entry into Rwanda's emerging green jobs market. Our goal is to ensure these skills become stable sources of income, while collectively accelerating Rwanda's ambition to become a carbon-neutral economy by 2050.
