We extract hydrated magnesium carbonate from an inexhaustible, sustainable resource - recycling bitterns discarded by sea salt producers and releasing a more environmentally benign stream into the ocean. This is the starting point for a vertically integrated production chain of high value magnesium compounds sold into international markets in which price is primarily driven by purity. Magnesium is used in agriculture, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, glass, ceramics, construction, manufacturing, mining, steel making, water treatment, and in environmental applications. EcoMag’s business is inherently sustainable and environmentally beneficial, and low in carbon emissions.
