Established in 2020, Econ Insider is a non-partisan youth led organisation for economics enthusiasts with a motive to drive young minds towards economic research through arranging economic discussions, workshops and contests.
Econ Insider is run by the young economists and budding researchers of the Department of Economics, Shahjalal University of Science & Technology, Sylhet. The team believes that students must be encouraged in doing research, analysing and expressing their thoughts in today's rational world. Thus they'll find their way of being economists, policy makers and researchers in future. Also students from Economics backgrounds all over the country desperately needed a mutual platform where they can collaborate, discuss and share their thoughts with each other. At the same time a platform to learn anything related to economics as per their 'demand' aside from traditional bookish learning system.
