Economics Bytes is an attempt to explain fundamental concepts of elementary economics using small, bite-sized concept explainer posts. There is a general perception that economics is a particularly difficult subject to understand. We aim to simplify the way in which economics is taught and explained to newcomers to the subject and hope to develop a love and following for economics by doing so. Economics is a very important part of our lives and economic decisions taken by the government and other entities have a profound impact on the lives of billions. It would benefit the masses if everyone had a basic understanding of economics fundamentals right from the start. This understanding would empower all of us to gauge the impact that economic actions of both governments and companies have on our lives. Therefore, we have taken the initiative to embark on a journey to make economics simple to understand for everyone, particularly the youth.
