EcoPodcasts

EcoPodcasts is an Erasmus+ project (2021-1-BG01-KA220-SCH-000027685) aims to drive school education to adopt innovative and interactive learning methods, while at the same time students explore ways to adopt environmentally friendly habits, become conscientious future citizens and become true agents of the fight against climate change. The EcoPodcasts project seeks to have a positive impact on the sustainable way of living, as it aims to enable children to take an active role in transforming society in ways that are necessary to avoid the most catastrophic impacts of climate change. ✅ The project will include podcasts developed by students not only for their classmates, but also for their families and other adults who want to adopt alternative and sustainable habits in a fun and truthful way, through the eyes of children. The EcoPodcasts project is composed of 5 work packages (PR1 - PR5), which deal with the tasks of creating an Educational Curriculum for the project; together with related training programs; a web podcasts platform; a resource hub; and an appropriate network to promote the planned environmental education. All the work packages will be managed by the project coordination at its core, and promoted with the planned project dissemination toolkit and activities. EcoPodcasts is coordinated by the Bulgarian Partner English Language Secondary School Geo Milev, and counts with the participation of two other European Schools: 1o. Dimotiko Sxoleio Alexandrias from Greece and Agrupamento de Escolas Camilo Castelo Branco from Portugal; two High Education Institutions: University of Macedonia from Greece and University of Salento from Italy; an International Foundation: International Integrity Foundation from Malta; and an SME as Communication and Dissemination partner: REACH Innovation from Austria. The Consortium is complementary in its competences and experiences, enabling the achievement of the project’s main goals.
