EcoRural Project

The project aims to understand and address the multifaceted challenges hindering the sustainability of rural water systems. It employs an interdisciplinary approach to gather insights from local communities, focusing on their experiences, needs, and the underlying causes of system failures. By documenting these challenges and promoting peer-to-peer learning, the project seeks to develop tailored capacity-building activities and introduce practical solutions that address technical, social, and environmental factors. This inclusive approach aims to enhance the sustainability of rural water systems and improve access to safe drinking water for dependent communities. Project Mission: To promote the ecological sustainability of rural water systems by developing inclusive management capacities and ensuring access to safe drinking water in rural communities. Project Vision: A world where all rural communities have access to clean, safe, and affordable water, managed sustainably for generations to come.
