Founded by a visionary female environmental engineer, ECOSOI is collaborating closely with local farmers to collect discarded pineapple leaves, which are then ingeniously transformed into high-quality yarn. By repurposing these leaves, we not only prevent the release of CO2 into the atmosphere but also provide an additional stream of income to the very communities that nurture our land. But our commitment doesn't end there. The process of creating yarn from pineapple leaves leaves behind valuable byproducts. Through meticulous separation, we convert these byproducts into nutrient-rich compost that returns to the hands of farmers, enriching their soil and enhancing their crop yields.
