Ecostar Energy was established with a view to support and enhance the expansion of the use of renewables in Zambia and the region. The directors of Ecostar have a combined experience of over 40 years in the business environment with an extensive network across the entire region. They have experience working closely with the government on large infrastructure projects which included Kafue Gorge Lower Hydropower project, ROADSIP II development program, assistance to Zambezi River Authority, and several successful commercial PPP projects. Ecostar Energy is well acquainted with the power sector in Zambia and are currently providing support to the new government’s drive to increase the use of renewables in the country.
