About Ecovillage Library
The founder, Christopher Kinney is committed to the development of communities that will be ecologically, socioeconomically, and culturally sustainable. He has worked with over 25 communities in 4 continents building biodiversity, ecological infrastructure, and energy and food independence. His areas of expertise are: civil & environmental engineering, water management planning, permaculture & ecovillage design, natural building, and ecological footprint measuring for small communities. He currently provides multi-disciplinary engineering services to the rural municipalities of southwest Oregon (since 2018). He began the Ecovillage Library Podcast in 2018 and Biblioteca Ecoaldeana Podcast (in Spanish) in 2020 with the mission to facilitate the realization of sustainable communities and empowered individuals. He has a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Loyola Marymount University, along with certifications in engineering fundamentals, ecovillage and permaculture design.
