Research lab of University of Genoa (I) Site: Savona Campus, Via Magliotto 2, 16100, Savona (I) The main research activities carried out in ECP Lab are: 1) Scale-up, scale-down, dynamics of start-ups and cyclic operation of chemical, biochemical and electrochemical reactors. Related applications are processes for the production of biofuels from renewable sources (as biodiesel from waste oils and microalgae, hydrogen from microalgae /photo-catalysis, pyrolysis of waste plastics, electrolysis, etc). 2) Models and methods for human health and environmental risk assessment under uncertainty. Related applications are fate & transport of reacting pollutants, development of non-invasive monitoring techniques, methods for hazard and source identification
