The School of Art and Design at East Carolina is a community, where ideas, creativity, and innovation collide. The School has been continuously accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design since 1962.
We over 40 full-time faculty and more than 600 students, the School offers two undergraduate degrees and to master's degrees — the BFA in Art Education / BFA in Art with concentrations in animation/interactive design, ceramics, film and video production, graphic design, illustration, metal design, painting and drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture, and textile design / MAEd in Art Education / MFA in Art with concentrations in ceramics, graphic design, painting and drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture, and textile design.
